Production System

Due to active human interferences at various stages in Livestock Feed and Poultry Feed Manufacturing processes, the finished product in the form of Animal Feed and Chicken Feed Concentrates attains an anomalous feature in its application perspective. Various Processes such as heat treatments and chemical treatments are highly prevalent in the feed manufacturing industry, which basically degrades the overall natural property of the feed ingredients and transforms the entire product with a new property and line of application.

But we, at Hindustan Animal Feed, have developed an indigenous line of production wherein the basic size reduction process of various ingredients is done with a sophisticated technology (Jet Grinding System) that the natural property of the final animal feed supplements or chicken feed supplements remains undistorted. The available animal feed and poultry feed is highly nutritious and absolutely result oriented and that’s just because of its crude form. Finally, it has been a proved concept that Nature Feeds Nature (Living Being) – any metamorphosis process conducted on feed ingredients, denaturalizes its application and utilization aspect (in Animal Nutrition Perspective).

Manufacturing Process:

  1. Raw Material Sourcing
  2. Raw Material Fumigation
  3. Clinical Test of Various Ingredients (Proximate Analysis as per IS: 2052 Test Methodology)
  4. On Desk Feed Formulation (on the basis of Point 3.)
  5. Manual Raw Material Weighing as per the On Desk Feed Formulation.
  6. Transferring Raw Material to Production Spot

 Process Layout at Production Spot:

  1. Raw Material is passed through Mechanical Cleaning Process, wherein dust particles or husk/hulls of the Grains is removed.
  2. Completely Cleans Raw Materials are passed through De-Stoner, where in any stone, pebble or foreign matter is removed. De-Stoner removes on those materials which are heavier then grains.
  3. Cleaned Raw Material is passed through Magnetic Screen to detect and remove any metallic element or contents from the material
  4. Fulcrum Filter is the final stage of filtration, wherein non magnetic metallic elements are detected and removed. The entire filtration process is fully automatic.
  5. Completely cleaned and hygienic raw materials are then after passed though Air Dryer where the moisture % is total sucked and reduced to below 10% from the grains.
  6. The totally clean and low moisture ingredients are then passed through 85 Horse Power Jet Grinding Machine that converts the feed raw material in to 18 Mash Form of feed. The Mash Feed is transferred pneumatically to the Feed Blender.
  7. In the post mashing process, the mashed feed is passed through cooking chamber wherein the processed feed is steamed for about 10 minutes at a consistent temperature at exact 98 Degree Celsius, the material is vertically and horizontally steamed for about 10 minutes and then discharge for cooling process.
  8. In the cooling chamber, the temperature of the feed is reduced to a significant level by the use of 10 HP heavy duty coolers, which cools the feed material and reduce the moisture content in the feed to 14% . Then after the totally cooked material is pneumatically elevated to Feed Blender.
  9. In the Feed Blender, the micro nutrients such as Vitamins, Minerals, Trace Minerals, Amino Acids, Toxin Binders, and Lecithin are sprayed in an Air Tight Compartment and mixed homogenously at zero to zero accuracy by horizontal and vertical rotation  at the rate of 75 times in 15 minutes time period
  10. Blended Feed is sent for the Re-Blending process were the blended feed is re-blended at the rate  100 times a minute in vertical and horizontal pattern for about 15 minutes, in order to main utmost accuracy of the feed blend.
  11. Completely Re-Blended final feed is released from the feed out let directly and bags are automatically filled, weighed, stitched and transferred to finished goods store room. This stage is applicable for the coarse mash form of the feed.
  12.  For producing pellet form of feed, the re-blended material is pneumatically infused to the feeder wherein the feeder containing the jacketed cooking system cooks the feed during the conveying process to 65 degree Celsius for about 8 minutes and the re-cooked blended material is passed through flat die pellet mill to converts the coarse mash form of feed to pellet form of 2mm, 5 mm, 8 mm and 10 mm respectively.
  13. The completely formulated feed pellets are then passed through Blow Balloon Process, wherein the extremely warm pellets are spontaneously cooled to room temperature.
  14. The cooled feed pellets are passed through mechanical sewers to remove the feed powder from the feed pellets. The completely cooled feed pellets are then conveyed to the  finished good hopper, where the bags are automatically filled, weighed, stitched and transferred to finished goods store room.
  15.  In the store room the Bags are staked by Human Force on Wooden Pellets and simultaneously fumigation process also begins.
  16.  Goods Produce today is dispatched on the third day, from the date of production.
  17.  During the post re-blending phase random samples of the feed lot is collected from the feed outlet for clinical test process.
  18.  On generation of test results, the goods are dispatched.

Sterilization Process of Plant, Machinery and Equipments

  1. Sterilization Process is generally executed when the production of a particular product end and a new product formulation is to produced.
  2. In Raw Material Filtration Devices their nets and screens are replace and the used parts are properly washed and sun dried.
  3. In Pneumatic Devices, the pollens are remove dipped in water for 24 hrs and then cleaned and sun dried.
  4. The internal cylindrical cores of the Blending and Re-blending devices are replaced with the stand by logistics and the used one are washed and sun dried.
  5. On Fridays of every week is the General Maintenance Day for total plant and machinery
  6. All equipments that are washed with saline water.
  7. Production Break down occurs for 4 hours when the new batch of other type of product has to be produced. Removing and Installing of sterilized devices and mechanical part needs minimum four hours.

 Production Establishment

  1. Hindustan Animal Feeds is equipped with three ultra sophisticated production establishments (installed production capacity of 450 MT Feed per day) located in Jamnagar District of Gujarat State (India)
  2. Each Production establishment produces 150 MT feed on daily basis, totalling to 450 MT feed in three units.
  3. Each Production Establishments has 3 sub production division producing 50 MT feed in 22 working hours a day. So In one production establishment 3 different types of products can be simultaneously produced.
  4. Likewise in three production units 9 different varieties of products can be produced simultaneously.
  5. Due to our most advanced production establishments, we attain the elite competitive edge in global market and able to invest better resources in the best quality ingredients. This is due to the lowest cost of production index.
